Wtf, Kousetsu being controlled came completely out of left field. Well, at least we finally got her full face reveal I guess.

Kinda disappointed when the Ninja robots are weaker than the elders and, yeah. Kousetsu mind controlled just came out of no where lol

as almost the whole writing of the show, it's also non-sense having Kousetsu killing the mom, as the mom is the one who knows where the ninja core(I though it was a weapon, now is just a battery) is hidden..now you have only Ittoki who knows the place and less tools to blackmail him to talk

Why did you think it was a weapon when they had already explained that the ninja cores are what powers the ninja suits in previous episodes

I love how it shows when it comes to reading for you. you're so blind, but not visually though

Just forgot the whole explanation, it's too much non-sense in the writing that I got bored along the way and started to play on my smartphone

My guess that's probably his daughter and he used a mind control to set it all up so she can be adopted by the IGA clan

Not to mention how they completely undermanned the operation to genocide the Iga. Like how the hell do they have only 1 human defending the charging station for the robots.

The whole story says so much about how the Koga are such a massive ninja corporation so it literally makes no sense

And the person defending the camp happened to be the stupid kid who just lost his father murdered by Kouga, but seems he doesn't care.. another point, they can become invisible with the suits, maybe I have missed something, but didn't get why Ittoki went into the station camp without using this feature. Well, the whole thing is dumb since the beginning, in what world ninjas would let outsiders in their main base and let they walk free inside?no one to keep a eye on the outsides? Kirei had no problem in checking the whole security of the base.. where are all the ninjas? is this really a story about ninjas?

Tbf, she was controlled by a person who acted on impulse because he just got arrested and the possibility of Koga betraying him lingered on his mind. When it comes to war, you have to expect that they are throwing out rationality because anything goes in war. It's a literal battle for survival on both sides.

Furthermore, the elders are experience and they been through and seen battle throughout their lives. They actually trained and conditioned properly to outmaneuver any youngster. Ninjas are built different than an average person. The robots have a major flaw as of now. It was strategically correct for the Koga to try to cover that weakness. However, they did pressure the Iga.

It was pretty ridiculous imo.

I thought that all their power and abilities came from the suits themselves...…I mean the only thing we've seen so far is guys in suits fist fighting each other with the occasional cloak and ninja gadgets.........so this guy without his suit locked up in a cell has the supernatural ability to control minds wtffffff......if they had superpowers like that without the suits then why are they only using the suits and nothing else why cant the ninjas breath fire out of their mouths as a technique or summon lightning in their hands as a technique if this guy has superpowers then why dont the rest of em have superpowers???? i thought they all civilians without the suits man this is the weirdest thing imaginable man

Kousetsu's betrayal was quite a twist. Still. That scene should have delivered more punch if Kousetsu and Ittoki's mom were much more likable.

And on top of that, who in their right mind would let in two girls not only into their village, but let them see EVERYTHING?! NTM the acting chief nearly got assassinated, the village is being attacked, apparently the Iga clan just lets ANYONE in.

That clan leader is too soft.

The same goes to Koga clan former leader. That's how both of them died.
They were people with great ambition for the world where ninja is no longer needed, but unfortunately soft in heart and trust people around them too much that they didn't expect them to get backstabbed by their own people.

Also, I don't see any good reason why those girls would want to help stand up against the Koga, despite the odds and how they're essentially putting their clans at risk as well. Not to mention, their parents/clan is completely ok with them being in danger

Yeah... the brainwash ability just happened to target Kousetsu so that guy could use her to kill Yumiko :(

The brainwash ability part was really "author decided to let his imagination goes free without a fixed direction" style lol

Because, Kousetsu fainted over. So, who stabbed her??? The real traitor, ofc. But, we can't get the chance to see their face, sad.

It can't be Kousetsu who stabbed her because:
1. As mentioned, she fainted over. I doubt even brainwash ninjutsu could control her body when her mind is sleeping.
2. As Yumiko hugs Kousetsu, her right arm movement could be limited. Besides, Yumiko could see or sense it if Kousetsu's arm moved.
3. Kousetsu after standing up, her kunai is either clean or doesn't have much bloodstain, other than the slice on Yumiko's cheek.

Thus, I believe the traitor is right there in the mansion at that time. Who?? Well, who else was there with them these whole time??
I would say that lady who informed Ittoki of the incident is the most suspicious there.

Or the old man who tackled Kousetsu perhaps?

True. Either Koesetsu's ninja core was tampered with at some point or the traitor who killed off Ittoki's mom held a device that let the villian use his mind control jutsu on activated ninja cores near it.

As for Kousetsu... I feel really sad for her.
Being mind controlled to forcibly hurt someone she cared for the most, one who she look up as a mother.
Then, after wake up realize that she is dead and believed she actually killed her, driven herself into despair.

How about autonomous humanoid ninja robots? That not bothered you? Guess real ninjas could apply this kind of tech with bigger effect.

Ninja has a tradition of gathering information ever since ancient times, I wouldn't be surprised if Saiga clans gathered info from all over the world and figure a way to create those robots. Besides, their ninja core is advanced enough.

But there is better use for such tech for ninja? Like autonomous flying recon or bomb(frag,HEAT or thermite) drones?

But, I guess author just wants it be a robot that can act like a real ninja /shrug
